 Description

Art Deco diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond, K colour, VS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 2.73 carats in an open back rubover millegrain setting, flanked by two tapered step cut diamonds with a combined weight of 0.40 carats and two triangular step cut diamonds with a combined weight of 0.10 carats in open back rubover millegrain channel settings, set to the far shoulders with two round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings and further set with twenty round old single cut diamonds to four rows in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.68 carats, to an elegant tapered form with an ornate scrolling openwork conforming gallery with intricate pierced backholing, flowing down to a solid tapered D-shape shank. Marked platinum, French, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #5234357423.
