 Description

Art deco diamond cluster ring. Vertically set with two round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings, with an approximate combined weight of 0.40 carats, encircled by a further sixteen round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings, with a weight of 0.35 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.75 carats, to an impressive art deco cluster design featuring millegrain detailing, an intricately pierced gallery with chenier motifs and square open backholing, flanked by spit shoulders which terminate in ridged detailing and flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, indistinct marking to interior, circa 1920.
