Vintage Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 carats, encircled by a single row of eight round brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.50 carats, to a raised floraform cluster with intricate claws, radiating open gallery and circular backholing, flanked to either side with curved inwardly tapering shoulders which continue to a solid shank. Marked platinum, indistinct maker's mark, French, circa 1965, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80268-15.
