Vintage opal and diamond ring. Set with one oval cabochon natural white opal in an open back four claw setting with an approximate weight of 10.00 carats, flanked by twelve round brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats, further flanked by two tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back half rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.60 carats, to an impressive solitaire design with a pierced conforming gallery, open backholing and all on a slim D-shape shank.
