Vintage diamond cluster ring. Centrally set with one rectangle baguette cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 0.60 carats, flanked on either side with four tapered baguettes in open back channel settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats, further enhanced to top and bottom with sixteen round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.30 carats, to an elegant diamond cluster design featuring fine abstract openwork, millegrain decoration throughout, finely pierced gallery and intricately pierced backholing, the squared shoulders with engraved details continue down to a solid shank. Marked platinum and iridium, American, circa 1950.
