Vintage Colombian emerald and diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with a square emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back yellow gold split corner claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.10 carats, encircled by a single row of ten round brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.50 carats, to an elegant openwork cluster with intricate pierced curving claws and a structured linear gallery, flanked by split shoulders leading to a solid ridged shank. Marked platinum and 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark, French, circa 1950s.
