Victorian three stone diamond carved ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, J colour, SI1 clarity, with a weight of 1.11 carats in an open backclaw setting, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 1.02 carats, further adorned by four round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.21 carats, to a three stone design with curving double claws, an ornately carved gallery featuring scrollwork and open backholing, the trumpeting shoulders flowing to a solid D-shapeshank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2195061456.
