Belle Époque sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a single cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 1.50 carats, encircled by a double row and further set to the shoulders with fifty four round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carats, to an elegant cluster design featuring millegrain edging, an ornately pierced gallery with intricate scrolled engraving and open shaped backholing, leading to shoulders with pierced floral motifs and flowing through to a flat solid tapered shank. Tested platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Gubelin Gemmological report #20060099.
