Sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Set with two square step cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.70 carats, flanked by two drop shape old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.40 carats, to an attractive cluster featuring curving double claws, a pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the split scrolling shoulders leading through to a solid slim D-shape shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1930.
