Opal and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an oval cabochon natural unenhanced opal in an open back rubover setting, with an approximate weight of 1.90 carats, encircled by twenty six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.30 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design with millegrain borders and scalloped edges, a decorative open gallery with cheniers, and fancy open backholing, the raised shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat white gold and platinum, makers mark 'SB&S Ld' for S. Blanckensee & Son Ltd, numbered '83311 G 5', English, circa 1920.
