Edwardian Burmese ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.94 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds, the first, F colour, VS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.02 carats in an open back claw setting, the second, F colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.03 carats in an open back claw setting. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.05 carats, to an ornate three stone design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the Fleur-De-Lis motif split shoulders flowing through to a tapered solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by Gem Research Swisslab report #2007-020728 and Gemmological Certification Services report #5774267.
