Description

Natural Burmese ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set with a natural unenhanced cushion shape old cut Burmese ruby to centre in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.94 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds with a weight of 1.02 carats, F colour, VS2 clarity, and 1.03 carats, F colour, VS1 clarity, in open back claw settings. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.05 carats, to ornate scrolling pierced collets and fleur de lis motif split shoulders, with cushion shape open backholing to a tapered solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by Gem Research Swisslab report #2007-020728, and Gemmological Certification Services report #5774267.
