Georgian diamond and enamel memorial ring, circa 1790. A yellow gold and silver ring composed of a vertical oval plaque of dark blue engine turned enamel, the centre set with three cushion shaped old mine cut diamonds in silver cut down settings, the outer edge encircled with a single row of twenty one cushion shaped old mine cut diamonds in silver cut down settings, all twenty four diamonds with an approximate total weight of 1.20 carats, all on a yellow gold half round shank.
