Set with one square french cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, to an elegant solitaire design featuring angular corner claws, a geometric pieced gallery and open square backholing, leading to slightly raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1940.
