Colombian emerald and diamond ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut Colombian Muzo natural emerald with no colour enhancement and minor clarity enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 2.20 carats, further adorned by twenty six round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 1.10 carats. The total appoximate diamond weight is 3.30 carats, to an ornate cluster design with corner claws, a pierced openwork gallery supported by cheniers and fancy open backholing, the integrated shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79178-07.
