Emerald and diamond cocktail ring. Set with four rectangular baguette cut natural emeralds in an open back channel setting with an approximate total weight of 0.80 carats, further set with twelve square baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a total weight of 1.20 carats and eighteen round star top cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a total weight of 0.54 carats. The combined approximate diamond weight is 1.74 carats, to a heavy asymmetrical bezel composed of a tapered raised stepped element, all above an openwork geometric gallery with pierced backholing, and on a square shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935.
