Edwardian sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old mine cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.10 carats, further set with twelve cushion shape old mine cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, to a floraform cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, the trumpeting shoulders tapering to a solid D-shape shank. Tested rose gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80268-18.
