Set to centre with a cushion shape old minediamond in an open backgrain setting with an approximate weight of 0.45 carats, surrounded by a single row of eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.45 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by tri-split shoulders flowing down to a solid D-shapeshank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1905.
