Diamond and gold snake ring. The head set with five graduated cushion shaped old cut diamonds in openback grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.40 carats, to a yellow gold ring in the form of a coiled serpent with engraved mouth and eyes and shaped back holing, the conforming shoulders flowing through to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, full hallmarks for Birmingham, indistinct maker's mark, English, circa 1919.
