The head set with five graduating cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.40 carats, to a yellow gold ring in the form of a coiled serpent with eye details and circular open back holing, the conforming shoulders flow through to a solid ridged shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, full hallmarks for Birmingham, indistinct maker's mark, numbered '2127', English, circa 1905.
