Diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a round brilliant cut diamond in an open back claw setting with a weight of 1.34 carats, additionally set with sixty six rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 3.70 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 5.04 carats, to a round bombé form cluster with a pierced gallery and fine geometric backholing, the split openwork shoulders joining to form a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1950.
