Diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with a round transitional cut diamond, E colour, SI1 clarity with a weight of 0.98 carats, in an open back claw setting, encircled by ten round transitional cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.98 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster featuring curving claws, a pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the trumpeting split shoulders tapering to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum and gold, circa 1940, French accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2466496704.
