 Description

Diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.50 carats, encircled by eight round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats, further flanked by six round transitional cut diamonds with a combined weight of 0.25 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.75 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster design with polished edges, an intricately pierced gallery, and fancy open backholing, flanked by raised chamfered shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, inscribed '100 Irid Plt', American, circa 1950.
