Vintage diamond cocktail ring. Set centrally with thirty three round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.00 carats, further set to top and bottom with single rows of sixteen rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.10 carats, to a cocktail ring design featuring polished edges, an openwork gallery supported by cheniers and pierced backholing, leading to raised split shoulders and flowing through to a solid square shank. Marked platinum and iridium, American, circa 1950.
