Convertible diamond corsage ornament. A floral corsage ornament composed of an asymmetrical spray of two open flowers, the larger set with one central cushion shape old cut diamond in an open backclaw setting with an approximate weight of 1.80 carats, the smaller set with one cushion shape old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with a weight of 0.65 carats, further highlighted by three cushion shape old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.95 carats, the pierced leaves and buds set with two hundred and fifty eight round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 5.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 8.50 carats, to four detachable sections with original removable brooch fittings for each, approximately 6.5" in length. Testedsilver and yellow gold, French, circa 1850, accompanied by a fitted green velvet box with concealed compartment for the additional fittings.
