Burmese sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 3.60 carats, encircled by fourteen round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.70 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design with scalloped edges, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by trumpeting shoulders supported by cheniers, flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1950, English, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80250-23.
