Antique Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a natural unenhanced cushion shape old cut Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approimate weight of 1.70 carats, encircled by a row of twelve cushion old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 1.68 carats, all to an impressive elongated cluster featuring curving claws, a pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to raised inwardly tapering shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1905, French import marks, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5785-0191
