Description

Burmese ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.50 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.90 carats, to an elegant three stone design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open circular backholing, leading to inwardly tapering shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow and white gold, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-2743.
