 Description

Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape mixed old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.51 carats, surrounded by fourteen cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carats, to an elegant elongated coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to carved trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Edelsteinbefundbericht gemstone report #032744.
