Centrally set with one cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 1.20 carats, further set with twenty six round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.50 carats, to an elegant marquise cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by trumpeting shoulders flowing through to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, makers mark 'Billings', American, circa 1890, accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services report #79223-01.
