Cabochon sapphire and diamond ring. Set to the centre with a natural and unenhanced sugarloaf cabochon sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, flanked by two rows of three square baguette cut diamonds, all six are channel set with an approximate combined weight of 0.40 carats, in open back rubover settings. All set to a heavy solid tapered D-shape shank with intricate back holing. Marked 18 carat white gold, with maker's mark 'BBB' for Bailey Banks and Biddle, marked 63365, American, circa 1930.
