Art Deco Burmese ruby and diamond ring. Set to centre with an octagonal double brilliant cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby with an approximate weight of 2.67 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by six square French cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.30 carats, to a stepped design featuring double corner claws, a geometric openwork gallery and cushion shape open backholing, leading to elegant gently sloping inward tapered shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5774-507.
