Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back half rubover and claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, flanked by two natural unenhanced square French-cut sapphires in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carats, to intricate pierced curving claws and a scrolling openwork gallery with backholing, leading to trumpeted shoulders and a solid tapered D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1930.
