Art Deco ruby and diamond ring. Horizontally set with a rectangular emerald-cut natural unenhanced ruby in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 2.50 carats, surrounded by a cluster of thirty eight round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.25 carats, to a conforming cluster form, tapering elegantly at the shoulders with intricate backholing and a linear openwork gallery, flowing smoothly down to a solid lightly rounded shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5775-1375.
