Art Deco diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with one octagonal emerald-cut diamond in an open back claw setting, with an approximate weight of 0.70 carats, flanked by four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings, with a combined weight of 0.24 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.94 carats, to an impressive flanked design featuring polished borders, a linear pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by broad raised shoulders that flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1920.
