Art Deco diamond coronet cluster ring. Set with one central round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with a weight of 1.60 carats, surrounded by a square frame set with eighteen round old cut diamonds in open back bead settings with a total weight of 0.90 carats. The approximate combined diamond weight is 2.50 carats, to a square cluster, above an ornate openwork gallery with pierced backholing, flanked by raised shoulders supported by cheniers and on a D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935.
