 Description

Art Deco diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a rectangular step-cut diamond, J colour, S12 clarity, with a weight of 3.02 carats, in an open back claw setting, surrounded by forty-four round eight-cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.32 carats, to a horizontal cluster design featuring polished edges, a decoratively pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with chenier detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America report #2235029188.
