Art Deco diamond and onyx coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with thirty nine round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carat to a domed bombé form, claw set within an onyx curved mount, flanked by twelve round rose cut diamonds in grain and millegrain settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.12 carats, to an oval cluster with split shoulders, cheniers and pierced backholing, leading to a solid shank. Tested platinum, circa 1925.
