Art Deco diamond and onyx coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with thirty nine round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carat to a domed bombé form, claw set within an onyx curved mount, flanked by twelve round rose cut diamonds in grain and millegrain settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.12 carats, to an oval cluster featuring curving claws, millegrain edging and round open backholing, flanked by openwork split shoulders with cheniers leading to a solid slim shank. Tested platinum, circa 1925.
