Yard Inc. Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring. Set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.40 carats, further adorned by two triangular step cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats, and further bordered by four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.30 carats, to an angular cluster design featuring polished borders, an intricately pierced gallery with scrolling motifs and open backholing, leading to engraved shoulders with ridged detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, signed 'YARD', American, circa 1925, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80262-08.
