Art Deco diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with nine graduated rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover channel settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.70 carats, further set with thirty four round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.30 carats, to an attractive openwork tapering cluster design featuring polished edges, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by elegant trumpeting split shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1930.
