Art Deco Burmese sapphire and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with an octagonal step cut natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back rubover and grain setting with an approximate weight of 3.00 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.80 carats, to a linear three stone design featuring polished borders, a pierced geometric gallery displaying a ridged detail and fancy open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders, flowing through to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Marked platinum, French, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79199-46.
