Art Deco Burmese ruby and diamond ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.69 carats, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.20 carats, to an attractive openwork gallery with fancy backholing, the slightly raised shoulders leading through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-3338.
