Antique sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.25 carats, encircled by a single row of eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with two to the shoulders in open back grain settings, all ten with an approximate combined weight of 1.40 carats, to a coronet cluster design with pierced elegant claws and a ribbed conforming gallery, open backholing and square shoulders flowing to a solid tapered shank. Marked 18 carat rose gold with platinum settings, French, circa 1905.
