Antique old mine diamond solitaire ring. Set with a single cushion shape old mine diamond, K colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 3.02 carats, in an open back claw setting, to a classic solitaire design featuring a structured collet with curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and cushion shape open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders with ridged details terminating with grooved ribbing, flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat gold, English, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #6225957276.
