Antique emerald and diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a hexagonal step cut natural emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.40 carats, encircled by a single row of cushion shape old mine diamonds and further set to the shoulders, twelve in total with an approximate combined weight of 1.50 carats in open back rubover settings, to an elegant conforming cluster with intricate pierced backholing and tapered shoulders with light engraving, flowing down to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, English, circa 1870.
