Description

Antique diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to the centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 0.50 carats, surrounded by eight round old cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined weight of 0.96 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.46 carats, to an elegant flora form with polished borders, scalloped edging, intricate open sweeping gallery and circular backholing, the raised inwardly tapering shoulders are supported by decorative cheniers which curve to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1910.
