A diamond suite of jewellery comprising earrings and a brooch, the brooch set to the centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in a closed backrubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.10 carats, to a round brooch with a raised central plaque engraved with an eight-pointed star, enclosed within fine ropework and raised radiating border, further encircled by a flat round plaque featuring decorative edging, fitted to reverse with a circular open locket with glass cover and a secure hinged pin and scroll clasp, accompanied by a matching pair of earrings, each set with a round rose cut diamond in a closed back rubover setting, two in total with a combined approximate weight of 0.04 carats, to an articulated drop earring with an eight-pointed star central motif, a fine ropework border and radiating outline, surmounted by a golden sphere and fitted to reverse with a secure shepherd's hook, approximately 3.3cm to top of hook. Tested yellow gold, circa 1860, maker's mark 'A.J.A.S', accompanied by fitted box.
