Antique emerald and diamond ring. Vertically set with five tapered baguette cut emeralds in channel settings with yellow gold rubover border with an approximate weight of 0.60 carats, encircled by a single row of thirty three round old cut diamonds in claw settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats, and further set with sixty seven round rose cut diamonds in open back millegrain settings with a combined weight of 0.67 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.17 carats, to a marquise shape cluster with intricate openwork and pierced scrolling gallery to a solid tapered shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1900.
