Set to centre with an oval cabochon agate with an approximate weight of 51.00 carats in a closed back rubover setting, further set with nine natural pearls in closed back grain settings, suspended from an elongated bale set with nine natural pearls in closed back grain settings, to a striking pendant design with smooth edges, a polished gallery, fitted to the reverse with a removable oval glass plaque and locket compartment, pendant approximately 5.8cm in length including bale. Pendant and bale marked yellow gold, indistinct makers mark, French, circa 1880, accompanied by original fitted box, embossed 'Gabrielle'.
