 Description

Victorian diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with one cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.30 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in grain settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.70 carats, to a graduating three stone design featuring geometric motifs, polished edges and open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a solid flat shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, full hallmarks for Birmingham, maker's mark 'E & D', English, circa 1878.
