Victorian three stone diamond ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.33 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.16 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.49 carats, to an articulated openwork three stone design featuring square collets, a polished gallery and circular open backholing, flanked by broad integrated shoulders and flowing through to a solid tapering flat shank. Marked 18 carat gold, makers mark for Saunders and Shepherd, numbered 'VII', full English hallmarks for Sheffield, English, circa 1890.
